About Me

Traveling to the quiet areas in the wilderness allow us quiet time to relax. We usually have cameras with us to capture the views few get to enjoy. This summer we went on a 3 week adventure to the boundry waters canoe area, in northern Minnesota. We spent 7 days in the wilderness, using only the supplies we carried into the wilderness canoe area with us. This vacation is our favorite to date, and we plan to return in 2011. In this digital age of photography; ensuring we had enough battery power and enough digital film with us was a challenge. A water proof bag style housing was the solution for our DSLR camera gear. We also invested in a flip style waterproof video camera for around $150. We saw moose, loons, fox, beaver, bald eagles, and few humans on this adventure. As the outdoor season comes to a close, I look forward to sharing and viewing more here.
