I guess I thought cows slept. It is 10PM . . . I was in the hot tub resting from working from 7a-9p and low and behold I heard my neighbors cow mooing. I am somewhat new to this country living but WOW. If my other neighbors turkeys had gobbled this late I would have had a heart attack! What did I do you ask? I scampered my self in the house and locked the door. Remember, we don't live in CA where the happy cows live!
maryshuman, 2 weeks ago | FlagThat is so funny... Just wait til you get woke up at 3:00 a.m. to find cows in your garden and flower beds...Tha
t is a treat!!! We live on a farm and yep, the cows here will moo at weird times...Wh en the calves get weaned, the mommas will moo and cry non-stop for days... That is hard to listen to because you know they are sad and looking for their babies. Guess they are alike all the other animals and sleep when they feel like it!! Maybe they wanted a dip in the hot tub too?? At 10:00 last night, my son was chasing coyotes out of our driveway. They were less than 40 foot from our back door and right between my hubby's and son's trucks... heehee. Needless to say those coyotes scared the everloving outta my son. (He is just 16) but he did grab his ball bat to chase them... Glad he did not take his gun or the trucks and/or barns might have a few holes!! Country living is fun and full of surprises!
